On January 23 and 24, 2026 Saas-Fee will once again be the stage for a winter spectacle: the 26th Ice Climbing World Cup is coming up – combined with the European Championships for the first time! Over 100 athletes from around 20 nations will compete against each other in the disciplines of speed and lead in the unique Ice Dome in the parking garage.
The ice walls up to 32 meters high, the spectacular arena atmosphere and the international field of participants make the event a highlight of the season – and not just for ice climbing fans! The supporting program is also impressive: Live music, culinary delights, heated lounges and an atmospheric night program ensure a festival atmosphere in the snow.
